Headache

I remember how my Moral teacher used to preach on the importance of these three words - Ken Wa Fu. Can't remember the origin of them words but I think it means something along the lines of "Wealth, Health and Prosperity". Haha, just goes to show how attentive I was back in high school!

He said, "Just one little headache can throw your plans awry, make your day turn bad". Very true. I've got this nagging headache that has been sticking around for the past few days. Comes and goes and annoys the hell out of me. I try to stay off medicine like Panadol or some other painkillers. Drinking lots of fluid and taking fruits - trying to go the au naturale way but it doesn't seem to work.

Got a wedding dinner to attend tonight. Please, Mr Headache, just go away, please!

Sickeningly Sick of Being Sick!

I think the title says it all. Fullstop.

Halfway Through!

OMG! It's almost half way through the month of December. So, in about two weeks or so, we'll be hitting January 2010! Is it time for new resolutions? I guess so. I wonder how many keep to their resolutions cause I never keep mine! This year, I wanted to be more diligent with using body lotion but yeah, that Nivea bottle I bought looooooong time ago is still nowhere near empty.

When I sip my cup of coffee at Starbucks or bing!, I feel the Christmas mood. Maybe simply because of the Christmas deco, trees and songs...Will be spending Christmas elsewhere this year. I think if I were living in a country with the winter season around at this time of the year, I'd be in the Christmas mood already! But well, I live in an Asian country with rain and sunshine throughout the year. So I need to rely on the decos and songs for the mood to come by.

Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!!!

Are You in the Christmas Mood Yet?!

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Let your heart be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yule-tide gay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to us once more.

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang a shining star upon the highest bough.
And have yourself A merry little Christmas now.

Into the 3rd day of December 2009

Time really flies. I think that has to be the BIGGEST understatement of all time.

Another 3 weeks to Christmas, then another week to New Year's Eve and then 2010 arrives!!! *excited* I hope 2010 will be a fresh start. I guess I will hope for the best :)

Somehow, at the end of the year, there's always tons of things to do but never enough time to finish all of these things. The workload increases, tons of catch-ups with friends - perhaps it's just the human being wanting to finish up everything before the next year arrives.

I'm glad that because I'm a Chinese, I have another new year to look forward to if I don't finish things in time for the Gregorian calendar. But yeah, it's best to get things done soon.

What about you? What do you have to finish off before 2010 comes?

Up Another Kilo!

OMG! Is it the age or is it my food intake? I am piling on the kgs and the tummy is expanding! Argh! I am not a person who diets and neither do I exercise. So how am I going to lose the extra kilos I've put on in just a matter of 3 weeks?!

I can't exactly stop eating, can I? But I need to cut down on the meat. I can't afford a new wardrobe but I can afford to munch less on the carbs. Yeah, that sounds much more logical.

Sigh. Kate Moss and her "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels"... Well, I don't want to be skinny and scrawny and curve-less, but right now, I could do with a few kilos off me. The extra burdens one has to carry!

A Month from Today - It'll be Christmas

Christmas is coming. I actually look forward to this year's Christmas. A time for reflections of the past, but also a time to rejoice about what my future might be like.

At this point in time, I feel confident about finishing my thesis. No more carrying forward to next year. Next year, it will be a new start. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen in the next decade of my life.

I shall live my reminisces for another post. Right now, it's back to work and Christmas songs!

Tight at the Tummy

After every meal, I feel that I have to change into a pair of looser-fitting pants, especially the stretchable ones at the tummy. Am I eating too much?

Bit by Bit, Block by Block

Gonna build this blog bit by bit, block by block.

Hello World!
